Insurance claim support

You don’t have to navigate the damage—or the insurance questions—alone.

Worried about the cost of cleanup? Let’s talk through your situation. If you’re making an insurance claim, connect us with your adjuster. With your permission, we can help coordinate the restoration details so you have less to manage during a stressful time.

We can help with damage documentation, the proposed scope of work and restoration updates for your insurer’s review. Before authorizing work, ask us about the estimate and payment arrangements, and ask your insurer what your policy covers.

A clearer process, from the first call

  1. 1. Tell us what happened

Share the type of damage and whether you’ve opened a claim. Have your claim number and adjuster’s contact details ready if available.

  2. 2. Connect your adjuster with our team

With your authorization, we can discuss the damage, restoration scope and supporting documentation with your insurer.

  3. 3. Understand the work and the costs

Review the proposed work and payment terms. Your insurer confirms eligible coverage, limits and any deductible or exclusions.

Have a policy with one of these insurers?

Common home insurance providers in Ontario include the names below. You can ask your insurer about the claims process and choosing a restoration contractor, even if your provider isn’t listed.

  • Aviva
  • CHUBB
  • TD Insurance
  • Desjardins Insurance
  • Allstate

Other familiar providers include Intact Insurance, Co-operators and belairdirect. Your provider doesn’t need to appear here to discuss a restoration enquiry with us.

Insurer names and logos are examples only, not endorsements or claims of affiliation or preferred-contractor status. Coverage and claim approval are determined by your insurer and policy. Deductibles and uninsured work may remain your responsibility; direct billing requires prior agreement.

Water damage spreads beyond the puddle. Your cleanup plan should too.

A burst pipe, overflowing appliance or flooded basement can leave water beneath flooring and inside walls long after the visible puddles are gone. Revive Pro helps homeowners and businesses assess the affected areas, remove standing water and plan the drying work needed before repairs begin.

Water extraction & flood cleanup

Remove accessible standing water and assess affected floors, wall bases and belongings. Sewer backups and other contaminated losses need a cleanup approach appropriate to the source of the water.

Moisture assessment & structural drying

Check for moisture in affected materials and use air movement and dehumidification where appropriate. Drying progress should guide the next step—not simply whether a surface feels dry.

A clear scope for recovery

Discuss which materials may be recoverable, where removal is needed and what repairs follow. Addressing the water source and residual moisture helps reduce the conditions that allow mold to develop.

Water near electrical equipment or outlets? Stay out of the affected area. Only shut off the water source if you can reach it safely, and call for help.

Fire & smoke damage restoration · Toronto & GTA

After the fire is out, the recovery work is just beginning.

Fire damage can affect more than the room where it started. Smoke and soot may reach nearby spaces, odours can remain in porous materials, and firefighting water can add a second layer of damage. Revive Pro helps you understand the cleanup needs and plan the next steps after the property has been cleared for access.

Fire damage & affected-material assessment

Review accessible damage and discuss which finishes and belongings may be cleaned, restored or removed. Structural concerns and access restrictions need appropriate professional assessment before cleanup proceeds.

Smoke, soot & odour treatment

Choose cleaning and odour-control methods suited to the residues and materials. Removing affected residues and addressing the odour source matters more than masking a smell with fragrances or paint.

Water damage & insurance coordination

Include extraction and drying when firefighting has left wet materials. With your authorization, our team can discuss restoration documentation and the proposed scope with your adjuster; your insurer determines coverage.

For an active fire, smoke exposure or immediate danger, leave safely and call 911. Do not re-enter until the fire department or appropriate authority permits access.

Emergency restoration questions

What should I do first after discovering property damage?

Put safety first. Stay out of areas affected by electricity, unstable structures, smoke or contaminated water. Contact emergency services for immediate danger. Once it is safe, call Revive Pro with your address, the type of damage and when it started so we can discuss next steps.

Do you provide emergency restoration outside Toronto?

Yes. Revive Pro serves Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, including Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Markham, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Pickering and Ajax. Call 1-800-526-8175 to confirm service and current arrival availability for your address.

How much does property restoration cost?

The scope depends on the affected area, source of damage, materials, contamination and access. Drying, removal and repairs can require different work. An assessment is needed before a meaningful estimate can be provided; ask what is included and what may need separate approval.

Will my insurance cover the restoration work?

Coverage depends on your policy and the cause of the loss. Contact your insurer or broker promptly, document damage when safe, and retain receipts. Your insurer decides coverage and any approval requirements; restoration service does not guarantee payment of a claim.
